- TSTR Business Credit Application – For new customers, please fill out and return to us so we can set your company up in our database and accounting system. We look forward to working with you!
- TSTR Rental Form - Fill out and send to us with all the information about your needed rental and we will contact your to confirm and schedule.
- TSTR Recurring Credit Card Authorization Form – For customers who wish to place their credit/debit card on file in our secure platform and have their card run on a monthly basis for all recurring rental fees. Contact us for more information if you have any questions about this payment method.
- TSTR One Time Credit Card Authorization Form – For customers who are making a purchase and need to make a one-time payment. This is also for rental customers who are making a one-time payment. Both types of customers have the option to have us save their card in our secure platform for future purchases.
- TSTR Customer Paperwork Request Form – If you need our W-9, Insurance Certificates, Vendor Paperwork or Payment Method Paperwork from us, please fill this out and send to us.
- TSTR Customer Info Update Form – If you need to update your mailing/billing address, email address, AP contact information, invoice delivery method, PO#, Job #, or Job information.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are containers secure?
Container doors are designed for padlocks to lock them. Some containers have been equipped with lockboxes to make the padlocks more secure to prevent bolt cutters from reaching the locks.
What is the different heights of containers?
Rental and sale 40’ containers come in standard height which is 8’6” and high cube containers, which are 9’6” in height.
All rental 20’ containers are standard height of 8’6”.
There are some specialty 20’ containers that are 9’6” but are sale only.
If I purchase a container, what maintenance should I perform to keep it in good condition?
Lubricating door hinges will help in keeping the locking rods in good condition so opening and closing doors does not become too difficult. Checking the roof on occasion to make sure there is no sitting water is also smart. Paint your container every few years if you want to keep the outside looking nice. We use industrial enamel paint. Areas with surface rust can be patched or cleaned up with a grinder prior to painting. Check door gaskets as well.
What are one trip containers?
One trip containers are considered new containers. They have made one voyage across the ocean with cargo. These containers are available for purchase only.
Can I come look at containers on your yard before I purchase one?
Yes! We do allow customers to come to our yard. Burt manages all sales. Please call him to set up a time to look at containers as he has other responsibilities outside the office. He is the one who can show you varied sizes, prices, grades of containers and assist in all aspects of container sales.
What methods of payment do you accepts for rentals and purchases?
We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, & Discover), Checks, Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, ACH/EFT payments, and Wire Transfers. *Personal checks may not be accepted for purchases.
For rentals, we can run cards automatically on a specific day each month through a secure platform and set up ACH transfers to run on a specific day each month for you. We can also provide banking info if needed so you can set up through your bank account. All payments mailed in should be mailed to PO Box 12446, Wilmington, NC 28405.
Can I purchase a container I have been renting?
Yes, you can. Please contact our office for a purchase price. If you think you might want to purchase the container before you start renting, please let us know so we can deliver something that will be in a price range you would agree with.
If I am renting a container and damages occur on my jobsite, who is responsible for the repair costs?
Customers are responsible for any damages that happen to the container while on rent. Customers will be billed for repairs once repairs are completed, either once the container is turned in or if the container is repaired while still on rent.
Do you insure the contents I put in a container or trailer while it is on rent?
No. We do not offer insurance. If you need to insure the contents of the container or trailer you are renting, you must do so through your own personal or business policy.
Do you provide locks for containers or trailers?
Yes, locks are available at an additional cost but any padlock will work.
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes! Contact our office with the size container you need, length of rental and job location. We will gladly send a quote based on your job requirements. All pricing is confidential. If you get a quote that beats our pricing, please contact us and we will see if we can match it or beat it.
Can your drivers delivery to military bases in North Carolina?
Yes. We make sure our drivers credentials are always up to date, so they always have access to deliver to all military bases in the area. We also have credentials to enter the Ports in the area for pickups and also any jobs located within the Ports of NC.
